Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the conditions for using the website and apps provided by HiROs Studio ("we"), including Web Photo Editor, HiROs 3D Studio and Video Editor (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. This English version is a translation; if there is any difference, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Your data

  1. The web apps process your photos, videos, drawings and other data inside your own device (browser). They are not sent to or stored on our servers.
  2. We do not view, store or manage the data you handle or the works you create with the Service.
  3. You are solely responsible for the works you create or edit with the Service and for how you use, publish or share them.

2. Prohibited use

When using the Service, you must not:

  1. break the law or act against public order and morals;
  2. infringe the copyright, portrait rights, privacy, reputation or other rights of others;
  3. create, edit or share sexual content involving minors, or intimate images of anyone without their consent;
  4. impersonate others, commit fraud or engage in other acts connected with crime;
  5. access the Service or servers without authorization, attack them or put excessive load on them;
  6. do anything else we consider inappropriate.

3. Use with external services

  1. If you use the Service together with AI services or other external services, sending data to and using those services is done under their terms of use and at your own responsibility.
  2. We are not responsible for any problems arising from your use of external services, including account suspension, charges or the handling of your data.

4. Disclaimer

  1. The Service is provided "as is". Including trial versions, we make no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from defects.
  2. Quantities and calculation results shown by the Service are estimates. Always check them yourself before use.
  3. We are not liable for any damage (including loss of data) suffered by you or third parties from using or being unable to use the Service, except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

5. Intellectual property

  1. Rights in the Service (programs, design, text, images, etc.) belong to us or their rightful owners.
  2. Rights in the works you create with the Service belong to you. Rights in materials included in them (photos, music, fonts, etc.) belong to their respective owners; please check their terms yourself.

6. Changes to or suspension of the Service

We may change, suspend or end the Service without prior notice, and are not liable for any resulting damage.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms as necessary. The changed Terms take effect when posted on this site.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The district court having jurisdiction over our place of residence shall be the exclusive court of first instance for any dispute concerning the Service.
